I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and ponder the question… «What if?» After the Marvel logo appears, it transforms into an animated form in the show’s art style. Adapted from Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very simple episode of rushing to get these pieces together. And my facial expression was also quite serious while watching this episode because there was no emotion or even a logical story, I get that it’s an animated show aimed at maybe kids? But only kids who know the entire MCU by now might be able to enjoy it. We’ll see how the rest of the episodes turn out, but I’m definitely not too excited after this one. Edit: The second episode gave a real sense of what the MCU is, it was creative and thoughtful with some great WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed seeing T’challa back on screen. The third episode was the deciding factor though and made me edit this review. It was so moving and touching that I could have watched the entire movie in this episode. It re-examined the characters we know to a level that makes you want more. I hope to get a 10 star edit by the end of the season. Edition II: Here’s another star for a «strange» thought-provoking episode that was by far the best of the bunch in terms of writing, storytelling, animation, and plot. Special kudos to Benedict Cumberbatch for narrating like a boss. Kudos to Marvel for this one. After episode 5, though, the episode was definitely entertaining, it was witty and engaging with quality animation, but again, it showed too much at once, not giving viewers enough time to absorb things. It’s still a 9/10 overall for the series until at least the next two episodes. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
