Story
Men and women live in a vast force underground with a few rules that they believe protect them from the toxic and ruined world above. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book "The Wave" – The book has 82 chapters. The fans on the floor spin the wrong way in various episodes, in terms of the orientation of the blades.

The Wave trilogy is one of the best books I have ever read. I was very hesitant to watch Shiloh because I had such a vivid internal vision of this post-apocalyptic world from the books and I didn’t want to spoil it. That being said, I’m halfway through season 1 and it’s nothing like the books at their best!
I mean, there’s a framework, events, and the basics of what made the books great
However, most of the detailed story is completely new and polished, filling in the gaps in things that were hinted at or left out in the books. What makes me happy is that I still have a distinct version of the books in my head and the show is like a new fun version. I have to say they did a PHENOMENAL job with the casting and the scenes.
A lot of it was just as I imagined
But the differences make the book different and I like that. This is probably the first time I’ve been happy that the show isn’t just like the books, but I still really like the show. Super cool!
