The grieving therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she thinks
Despite his training and ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people’s lives, including his own. "Shrinking" shares the highlights of his characters in Season 1 and reveals who did the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence asked how they got Harrison Ford to join the show, Siegel said that Goldstein initially wanted a "Harrison Ford type" and would audition people like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they should bring it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project to life, generating interest from other notable actors. Harrison Ford plays Dr
Two episodes in, this show shows a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and sometimes even weird… heartfelt in a way that most shows aren’t, just reminding the show’s community of those elements. I’m not sure if it’s exactly a therapist’s way of dealing with problems, but it certainly gives Jason Segel a chance to do it in his own way.
Rhodes, Jason’s boss and advisor
I wasn’t sure how his character would work in this show, but Rhodes’ antisocial nature certainly plays into a personality that Ford is pretty good at, considering the scariest elements of his character Han Solo in Star Wars fit the bill like a glove in this show. Somehow too close, Sean (Luke Tenney) plays the role of Jimmy’s (Segel) son to some extent, dealing with his family issues with his daughter Alice (Lucy Maxwell)… What I see here seems so vivid, and the possibilities are probably (?) endless, as I see Jimmy moving towards these things.
And the music in this show is so good
Btw, the opening theme for this show is so good, I didn’t even miss it when I watched episode 2… Overall, this show turned out to be wonderful, and I hope it only gets better in the future.
