It follows Cécile, a young woman who spends the summer in a villa in the south of France with her widowed father Raymond and his latest love Elsa. Their compatibility in life is a world of ease and languor. Very well written, filmed and acted. Clear romantic scenery. Interesting character studies. All the actors do a great job, but Chloe Sévigny takes on the most challenging role and does it brilliantly, walking the line between likeable and not, loving and not, caring and not. She has a little flair that stretches things a bit, but it is still believable and certainly interesting and will keep our interest. Interesting dialogue and a captivating score.
